# How we design, deliver, and support connectivity systems.

The way we deliver connectivity follows a consistent project management process. From the first online estimate to ongoing monitoring, each stage is managed within our platform to maintain quality, safety and compliance with industry standards.

The result is a system designed, built, and supported to perform reliably over its lifetime.

## Step 1. Online Estimator

The process starts with our online estimator tool which will collect information about your building to generate a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) costing. This helps us get you an actionable range estimate price immediately.

### What will we ask?

The tool will search the specified address and retrieve government records about the property and buildings. This helps us understand the building's size and location. There will be a few questions about the building specifics, what signal challenges you're facing, and of course your business or operation.

The more information you can provide us the narrower we'll be able to make our range estimate.

We'll also need you to verify your email address with a six-digit code, which helps us prevent bots from abusing the system as well as allowing you to submit for a formal quote.

### Report Generation

The tool will show you a 3D representation of your building and allow you to view which 4G-5G towers are currently servicing your building for each network (Telstra, Optus, TPG).

A cost estimate will be generated instantly, which will give you an idea of the costs involved within a rough range.

If it seems reasonable or you'd like us to double-check, just hit Proceed to Quote which will submit a copy into our system for review. You'll be able to log in any time using the same email address and review the project in our portal.

## Step 2. Preliminary Design

If the estimated pricing seems reasonable, you'll be able to kick the process off straight away.

A new project will be opened up in your Client Dashboard, which you'll be able to upload your building floorplans and answer any further questions. The project will be assigned to one of our team members who will be your contact and will transform this into a Preliminary Design.

The Preliminary Design process involves one of our team detailing your building in our design software to reach a more accurate system design and cost. You'll be able to ask questions and make refinements throughout the process. Depending on the size and complexity of the project this can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.

## Step 3. Quotation

Depending on the building's complexity, we may be able to issue a quote for the system at this point. For larger and more complex designs, a physical site survey is often conducted to capture both specifics about the building and network signal data.

### Site Survey

A technician will attend the site to gain a better understanding of the building's structure. For 4G and 5G mobile services, they will record existing signal levels throughout the Target Coverage Area, and at the buildings perimeter.

They may also spend some time investigating cable routes and resolving any unknowns or queries the engineers had during Preliminary Design.

## Step 4. For-Construction Design

Now that we have comprehensive information on the building, we develop the engineering design in fine detail. This process leads to a For Construction documentation package which has all information necessary to complete the job.

If the solution requires Mobile Network Operator approval, the documentation package is shared with the Operator's representative.

## Step 5. Installation & Documentation

The Project Manager will use the For Construction documentation package to orchestrate Field Technicians in completing the installation.

The system will be commissioned and a full walk-test completed to capture and document performance metrics.

Any fine-tuning or variations performed are red-lined and an As-Built documentation package is issued.

### Walk-Testing

To ensure the coverage system delivers a good user experience, during commissioning a technician will perform a walk-test, which involves walking through all the areas where connectivity has been implemented and recording performance. A signal measurement device is used to capture key RF metrics like strength, quality, and noise levels.

The captured data can be plotted on the floor plan, resulting in a "snail" map indicating the path of the technician. For more advanced systems, these data points can be fed back into the prediction algorithm to correct for obstacles or nuances of the building not captured during the 3D modelling process.

## Step 6. Monitoring & Maintenance

The system is monitored by a National Operations Centre (NOC), ensuring any faults or performance degradation are alerted and acted upon within the SLA period.

The client can view their system's performance in the Axidra Cloud portal, which generates a live visual representation of coverage from each coverage node.

## Final Step. Lifecycle Upgrades

With a flexible architecture, your system can be upgraded to support additional technologies or expanded with additional coverage nodes as your business needs evolve over time.
