# Mining & Resources

Battling some of the harshest and most remote environments on earth, uptime is everything. Axidra delivers resilient, high-performance in-building connectivity systems for the energy and resources sector – engineered to meet the demands of critical communications, autonomous operations, and always-on safety systems.

Whether it’s enhancing mobile coverage, enabling industrial wireless, or building private 5G for autonomous systems, our systems are built to perform. From accommodation camps to processing plants, we transform black spots into seamless, industrial-grade connectivity – ready for the next shift, the next cube, and the next evolution of mining.

## Visibility Across the Mine

Modern mining runs on wireless connectivity. Autonomous haul trucks, fleet management systems, real-time equipment telemetry, and safety communications all depend on networks that work consistently across vast and changing terrain. The challenge isn't just building these networks, it's understanding where connectivity exists and where it doesn't as conditions change.

Axidra Cloud provides a BYON (Bring Your Own Network) simulation layer that models connectivity across your entire operation. Using raytracing technology, the platform integrates your buildings, terrain, and equipment positions to create a real-time picture of wireless coverage. This works across multiple technologies: public 4G/5G networks, Private 5G, wireless mesh systems like Rajant, and point-to-point links. When pit boundaries shift, new terrain models can be uploaded to see how coverage changes. When trailer-mounted equipment needs repositioning, the impact can be simulated before anything moves. Integration with mine management systems keeps the connectivity layer current as the operation evolves.

## Systems We Deliver

For mines needing new wireless infrastructure, Axidra designs and deploys Private 5G networks that serve as a dedicated operational layer. Autonomous vehicles, remote equipment control, and safety systems run on network capacity that's reserved for operations, not competing with personnel phones.

Our in-building coverage systems bring reliable connectivity to facilities across the site: accommodation camps, processing plants, workshops, and administration buildings. These systems can support both the Private 5G network and public mobile operators simultaneously. Workers get the mobile coverage they need for personal devices and calls home, while operational systems run on dedicated infrastructure.
